If you do a search for your keywords, you may notice that nearly all of the top pages are made up of an open source blog software called Wordpress. This software is a highly specialized blogging tool which shows extremely high and very fast in all the major search engines. Yes even Google.

Web 2.0

It is an exciting time for the Wide World Web with the massive explosion referred to as "Web 2.0"

The massive explosion of Social Networking has altered the way we communicate, use our free time, and even how we do business. An example of 2.0 would be Wikipedia. The uses themselves upload the content and keep info current.

New Top Level Domain: .ASIA

Some of you may have heard about the new top level domain about to make its home on the Internet. This will open up an whole mess of new domains for 60% of the worlds population.

These domains are not restrictive, which means you don't have to live in Asia to purchase these domains. The flood gates are supposed to open in February or March. If you want a really good name, then you had better get your bid in as they are going to the highest bidder.

I had pre registered many .asia domain names in December 2007, and have yet to here anything regarding these domain names. There is an ongoing auction which begins with an email stating the auction start date, which lasts about a week. The subsequent winner then obtains rights to the domain.

As I stated, I have yet to hear anything regarding my 100 pre registered domains. Seems/feels very "Mickey Mouse".
